Student Wellbeing Support

The Australian Technical and Management College (ATMC) is committed to supporting and maintaining the wellbeing of all ATMC students. ATMC introduces our new Student Assistance Program (SAP) through AccessEAP. A Student Assistance Program is a professional and confidential counselling service, available to you as an ATMC student, at no additional cost. AccessEAP is an independent supplier, selected by ATMC to deliver this service.

AccessEAP can assist when personal, family, or study-related issues are impacting on your wellbeing and quality of life, by giving you a place to turn for support 24/7, 365 days a year.  The SAP is voluntary, and we welcome you to use your 4 free and confidential counselling sessions annually.

Areas where AccessEAP can assist:

  • Relationship and family problems
  • Nutrition – eating well
  • Financial concerns
  • Grief and loss
  • Conflict with others
  • Stress
  • Exam/study stress
  • Alcohol and drug use
  • Gambling

To book a counselling appointment, simply call 1800 959 192 and the AccessEAP team will arrange for you to speak with an experienced, professional counsellor face-to-face, over the phone, or online (via video, email or AccessChat). Book non-urgent counselling appointment from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. However, emergency telephone support is always available 24/7.
