At ATMC we are dedicated to providing all our students with the very best support services, so they have a successful academic experience. In addition to standard university support services, international students are provided with a range of specialist services such as assistance with resume writing and looking for part-time work. All ATMC students have access to welfare-related support services to assist with issues that may arise during their study, including program progress, attendance requirements, and accommodation.
Student Well-being and Emotional Support
The Student Services Team is responsible for the orientation and on-going welfare of all international students at ATMC. We pride ourselves on providing international students with the highest level of support possible, the Student Services team will help you on your educational journey from orientation to social activities and excursions.
The Student Services Team can help you with information such as:
- course progress and attendance requirements
- contact details
- working while on student visa
- providing information about ATMC facilities and procedures
- arrange learning support to help with academic difficulties.
At ATMC we recognize that students might need additional help with settling in and getting used to a new way of studying. On each Campus, we have ‘Student Red Shirts’. These are current ATMC senior students employed by ATMC on a part-time basis, so they can help their fellow students in a mentoring role, provide guidance, a listening ear and encourage them to seek out help by taking the student to the appropriate Student Service Staff for additional help

Orientation day is conducted for all new international students before the beginning of every semester. At orientation, you'll learn about ATMC services and facilities as well as an introduction to Australian culture, society, and life. The orientation day also includes numerous fun social activities, which will help you to meet other students and familiarise yourself with the campus and surrounds.
Finding the right accommodation is one of the biggest challenges facing a new international student, and finding the right price range can be even harder. There are many different types of accommodation available, so you should be able to find something that suits your needs.
ATMC can help you arrange temporary or permanent accommodation before you leave home so that when you arrive you have time to consider long-term accommodation options. For more information contact, email@example.com.
Hostels are a great temporary accommodation option for when you first arrive in Australia. Most hostels are managed by youth organizations such as Youth Hostels Australia and the YMCA.
