Our Bachelor of Business is a contemporary degree developed in collaboration with industry and designed to meet the needs of businesses now and in the future. Businesses are facing an unprecedented number of challenges and opportunities stemming from digital disruption and the rapid adoption of new technologies. There has never been a more exciting time to start your career in business whether you are looking for a career in the corporate world or aspiring to be an entrepreneur. With close ties to industry and a strong focus on real-world work experience, Federation University is renowned for producing job-ready graduates by providing students with industry placements internships and real-life projects during their studies to give our graduates a solid foundation in business management, entrepreneurship, critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, creativity and innovation and interpersonal skills. These skills are in high demand from employers and central to succeeding in the rapidly changing business world. 
Our Bachelor of Business will be a Federation University Co-operative Model degree from 2024.

Federation has the know-how to deliver Co-op through our award-winning relationships with industry, including our 25+ year partnership with IBM, and our extensive research into the co-op model’s success in the USA, Canada and Europe for generations of students. 

Work and world ready graduates.  We prepare our students through mandatory career development units, so you will be ready to enter the workforce during your co-operative placements, and through transferable World Ready Skills, so you are workforce ready when you graduate, regardless of your background before going to uni. 
• Real experience in your chosen profession. Every Co-op student completes a minimum of 60 days’ paid placement relevant to your course – contributing directly to course credits – either full time over one semester, part time over an extended period or in blocks embedded into your subjects. Co-op offers flexibility to suit our students’ commitments and course. 
• Co-design, co-develop and co-delivered with industry. We work with employers, industry, students and alumni to co-design, co-develop and co-deliver a comprehensive set of structured, assessed Co-operative Experiential Learning activities. 

Our Bachelor of Business has been specifically developed alongside global industry leaders and other key Australian digital innovators to provide students with real-world, practical learning opportunities and skills. 
These Federation Co-op opportunities prepare students for their business career as well as develop transferable skills that translate to the industry as a whole. Work Integrated Learning

Students will complete 60 days of co-operative industry placement.

Recognition of Prior Learning

International students wishing to apply for credit exemption are required to indicate on the application form that you they wish to be considered for credit exemption and provide a syllabus of their previous studies with their application for the course.  Applications will then be assessed for eligibility for credit exemption into the FedUni course.  Not all courses offer credit exemption.
